Terms of use
Effective 16 October 2026These terms are between you and Jerome Coloma (“we”, “us”), the maker of Wisp Launcher. By downloading or using Wisp Launcher (“the app”) or this website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. The beta
The app is currently a free beta. It may have bugs, and features may change or be removed. We’ll announce pricing on this site before the beta ends. Beta builds may stop working after a later version is released, and we’ll give notice on the download page before that happens.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. The app is licensed, not sold, and we keep all rights in it, including its name and logo. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove its notices. You may not reverse engineer it, except where the law allows you to.
3. Your content
Snippets, workflows, scripts, themes and settings you create are yours, and they stay on your Mac. See the privacy policy.
4. Scripts, workflows and AI agents
Workflows can run scripts and actions on your Mac with your permissions. You’re responsible for the workflows and scripts you create, import or approve, including ones written by an AI agent or downloaded from someone else. Review them before you enable them. Third-party services you reach through the app (search engines, AI apps, websites) have their own terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use the app to break the law, to access systems or data you’re not allowed to, or to harm other people’s devices.
6. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise it will be error-free or always available. Keep backups of anything important, including your Wisp data folder.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that can’t lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it’s limited to supplying the app again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
8. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 7, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the app. Because the app is free during the beta, our total liability to you is limited to AUD 0. If you have paid for it, the limit is the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must delete the app.
10. Changes
We may update these terms, for example when pricing is introduced. We’ll change the date above and note significant changes in the release notes. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
